St navigation inline where are the top links defined

hi there,
i am using the footer template “footer 01” and there are some menus named "st navigation inline " with menu buttons. but not a wordpress menu selected.
i just can’t figure out where i can change the menu buttons and links. guess the answer is very simple…
best wishes, kai

Hello Kai,

Thanks for writing in!

Simply click on the ST Navigation Inline element and change the “Menu”.

Best Regards.

hi @ruenel
thanks for your reply.
i did see that there was no menu selected.
but i thought that there is another way to create a menu since there is one – clearly to see…
is your suggestion the only way?
no way to edit the sample menu top links???
this confused me many times up to now and i created wp-menus like you did. but i am must curious how these sample menus are made.
thanks again for clarifying. best wishes, kai

Hello Kai,

The blank menu is coming from the template that has json list added to it.
[{ "title": "Viva" }, { "title": "Sonair" }, { "title": "Otcom" }, { "title": "Overhold" }, { "title": "Pannier" }, { "title": "Bitchip" }, { "title": "Cardify" }]

To modify it, you will need to enable the Dev Toolkit in the Preferences:

Hope this helps.

dear @ruenel,

thanks a lot for the explanation! i could not find any info about this in the manual pages.

so i will use “normal” menus instead

i keep finding elements in the predefined layouts which start with “ST”. like ST Row or ST image. what does this mean? do i have to replace those, too before working on the page?

thanks again, kai

Hi Kai,

There is no element named with ST, it’s the Navigation Inline element which has been renamed in the Footer Template you are using.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

hi @tristup,

what about all the other elements i mentioned which i find in the templates?

what des ST stand for?

are they all json “fake” elements which i will have to replace with a “real” element?

thanks again for clarifying! best wishes, kai

Hi Kai,

All those are renamed elements and you don’t need to delete them. If you do not want to use any of those, you can delete that and use your own.

Thanks

thanks for the info @tristup!
so only the afore mentioned nav elements are different and no real elements i understand.
best wishes, kai

Hi Kai,

Correctly understand.
