SSL not secure

Hi!
I have an issue with my SSL certificate which is marked as “not secure” by Chrome. I found this line in HTML code and wonder if this is the issue: <img class=lazy src="data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2000/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%201%201'%3E%3C/svg%3E" data-src=https://...

Could you, please, assist.

Hello Kirill,

Thanks for writing in! This issue is coming from a Lazy Load feature of a 3rd party plugin. Please check out this troubleshooting article here and follow the instructions for the following sections (where appropriate):

  • Testing for Plugin Conflict
  • Disabling Cache
  • Disabling CDN

If after trying all of the above things you are still experiencing problems, please reply below, including login details to your site in a secure note, so that we can investigate further. You can add a secure note by clicking on the key icon underneath your post and then entering the details into the modal that appears. This way, the information will only be seen by you and us.

Hope this helps.

Hi!

Thank you for your reply. Indeed, the code above comes from W3 total cache plugin. However, even if I disable it and I find no http:// references in the code the site is still marked as insecure. Could you suggest further debugging?

Hi Kirill,

I checked and the issue seems your SSL configuration. This is the warning,

The connection used to load resources from https://www.kirillkozmin.com used TLS 1.0 or TLS 1.1, which are deprecated and will be disabled in the future. Once disabled, users will be prevented from loading these resources. The server should enable TLS 1.2 or later. See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5654791610957824 for more information.

Seems you’ll have to contact your hosting provider to fix it.

Thanks!

Thank you! Appreciate your help

We are delighted to assist you with this.

Cheers!
