Hi, I thought I read somewhere that SSL was included with the purchase of Pro. Is that correct? If so, can someone tell me how to activate it? I am a NOVICE at all of this.

It’s not correct. There are some plugins bundled with X/Pro theme NOT SSL certificate.
You have to purchase a certificate then install on your website(your hosting provider will help you on this). For more information, please take a look at this:
