Hello there,

Is it possible to somehow embed Spotify players within single slides in Slider Revolution? Like here: https://www.aurora-music.com/music (this is Slick Slider being used).

Hi,

Yes that’s possible.

Open up your Spotify account and find your band’s music on the platform. Then click on the album that you want to embed. You’ll then click on the icon with the three dots “…” and choose “Copy Embed Code.”

You can then paste the code in Text/HTML Layer in revslider.

Hello again,

After a few hours of research I got it up and running. Thank you for brilliant advice! However, when the site loads on mobile devices, the player doesn’t respond on the first 4-5 attempts to play a song. After that it works like a charm. Have you got any idea about why this happens?

Hi Pål,

I checked in mobile and it seems that spotify is trying to load first the playlist before it plays.
Yes, I agree it’s quite slow to load but regretfully we can’t do anything from our end as this is an embed code.

Thanks for the swift reply on this! Will see if I can somehow prevent the slider from loading the whole playlist, or alternatively remove a few items from it.

Hello good people,

The slider works like a charm now! Loading time significantly reduced after shrinking placeholder photos to 150px. There’s a slight bug though: The slide furthest to the left doesn’t seem to load in any kind of browser, and I can’t find out why. Have you got any suggestions?

Hi Pal,

It’s the same like that on my view too, maybe I don’t fully understand the issue. What do you mean by doesn’t seems to load? I assume it’s not playing, but it plays on my end. Now that I can compare what you’re seeing to what I’m seeing, then I like to know what’s not loading?

Perhaps you should contact Spotify too as the loading of their libraries aren’t related to the theme.

Good morning @Rad,

Sorry for bein imprecise when describing my issue – which is purely cosmetic. As you can see from the picture, there are three slides loading on the right hand side, but only two popping up on the left, causing a slight imbalance to the whole slider.

Do you know if there’s anything I can do about that?

By the way I’m massively impressed by your response time and helpfulness. I won’t be considering leaving X Theme in a long, long time. :slight_smile:
