Split pages and duplicate content

Hi there
I’ve created a big article with 100 tips and decided to split the page for making this easier to read.
The problem is I have now on my search console, 10 pages returning same titles and description.

If this would be 10 different pages it would be easy to avoid this with canonical but this returns 10 pieces of the
exact same page.

Do you have any solution to avoid this ?

Thanks for asking.

Have you divide the page into different section? In your case an idea solution would be to create different page and then probably change the title and description of the article. As an option you can manually write the Excerpt by editing the page in WordPress editor and under Excerpt field, you can write separate description to differentiate.
