Hello. Trying to update a very important piece of information on our homepage and when I try to edit this in cornerstone I just get the spinning loading wheel. I have tried this on both firefox and chrome with the same results. All plugins and themes are up to date.
Hi @mtbboxx,
Thanks for reaching out.
It might be due to the improper up-gradation of the Cornerstone plugin. I would recommend you install the latest Cornerstone once again by following the below steps.
- Delete the Cornerstone existing one
- After deletion of the Cornerstone, please use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone.
If that does not resolve the issue, I would suggest you troubleshot a few common issues on this.
1.Plugin Conflict
2.Child Theme Related issue ** if you activated it.
3.Theme Update related issue
4.CSS/JS Customization
If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps and you are still getting the issue, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
Thanks
I updated with a secure note login. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
Hi @mtbboxx,
It seems that you haven’t gone through my suggestion on troubleshooting in a previous comment. I have checked and found it is working while deactivated the Autoptimize plugin. The issue might be with the minification of the JavaScript code using the Autoptimize plugin, You can deselect the option to optimize the JavaScript from the plugin settings.
Thanks
Thanks for the help, much appreciated!
You are most welcome.
