Speed up videos to x2

Hey there, I am Moustafa

I am new here and I’m really happy with the knowledge base. I just need one thing that is to add the option to speed up videos to x2 like youtube so I can save some time because I don’t watch videos at normal speed. I’ll be thankful for doing this, so I can learn faster and save time.

Hi there,

Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X/Pro theme. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

I mean the tutorials’ videos not my videos

Hi @mousahmed,

That’s not doable, the theme uses MediaElement JS library for video and audio player. And it’s library built-in to Wordpress, we only styled it to blend it to the theme. It would still require customization to achieve what’s Youtube player have.

If you’re referring to KB’s videos then it’s not possible too, it uses Vimeo player.
