Spam inside my dashboard? Have I been hacked? How to fix this

Just as the title says, I think our site got hacked and somehow there is spam INSIDE the actual dashboard. NOT a comment on a blog but like, in the dash… wtf?

There could be a plugin or custom code that makes your website behaving that way!

I suggest that you disable all the plugins and check if it’s resolve your issue. If yes, then activate it one by one to find the culprit.

You could also try, re-installing the WordPress core files.
