Spacing full width rows in Pro so the columns don't look spread out

Please don’t laugh, I generally build X sites so this has been a steep learning curve.

I’m not happy with the coloured rows on the front page. The spacing is all off. The graphic and the text should be closer together.

Can I put in extra columns either side to make space then hide them on smaller screens?

Hi @lisacole1,

It seems that the max-width of the container is set to the 100% and that is the reason behind your issue. I would suggest you remove the custom CSS code and set the Site Width to 100% from Theme Options > Layout and Design.

Hope it helps.

Thanks, that doesn’t work. It does this

Hi @lisacole1,

It might be due to the Site Max Width value which you set to 1200px, I would suggest you increase it up to 1900px.

Hope that helps.
Thanks

thanks, that doesn’t do what I want it to do but I might change it to a grid instead and see what that does. Thanks for trying

Hello @lisacole1,

In case if you want to have graphics and text in the center of the row. I would suggest you add one Row with one column. Now add a Headline element —>Add the text
Members-Content-Pro

Now You need to enable the Graphic option of the headline element.

Members-Content-Pro

Upload the image that you want to add with the text.

Now your column setting should be like this

Members-Content-Pro (1)

Hope it helps
Thanks
