How do you setup the Portfolio Page with the “Sort Portfolio” button and grid images where you can include a link when you hover? (Integrity-5 demo)

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, the sorting button or filtering button is a native to the portfolio page.

To do this, first, create a new page that would be assigned as your portfolio page. Set this page to use Layout - Portfolio template. Then you’ll see at the bottom of that page the Portfolio Settings, configure it where you see it fits. The sortable button there is the Filtering option, you can enable or disable it.

The Images on the grid is the Portfolio Posts feature images, all of your portfolio post items will be automatically populated on the Portfolio page that you just created, like on the Integrity 5 demo.

How do you make the “Category Archive” results, when you click on the Portfolio tags show in a grid, not an image that spans the entire page?

Hi there,

I did not understand the problem exactly. Would you please be more specific and give us detailed information about the problem?

The Category Archive is an auto-generated file from the theme and if you need to change that you need to customize the theme. But the Category Archive title can be changed by going to Posts > Categories Selecting a category and fill in the Archive title option:

I see where you can control the portfolio grid size layout, but when you click on an individual grid image, in the new page it opens to a a full page spread. How do you control the size of that image and maintain the topics menu at the top to go back and search for others?

Hi there,

It’s standard layout per stack, and integrity, the image appears full-width on top. What layout do you wish to implement? It’s only doable with few CSS.

When you click on an individual portfolio item, I would like the image to appear on the left, with the Portfolio topic menu on the right if possible?

Hi There,

Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
