Sort order

Hi, I have a looper consumer setup and it is pulling from the “featured” tag. Is there a way to sort the order of this? For instance, in the example below… if I wanted a specific post to be at the top like “swept”.

Hello @uxmediahouse,

Thank you for the inquiry.

The posts are ordered by published date by default. If you need to move a post to the very top, you can manually adjust the published date to make it the most recent post in the list. Let us know how it goes.

Another option is to use a plugin such as Post Types Order: https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-types-order/

Best regards.

yup… of course. i thought their MAY be some other PRO magic available.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, there is no built-in option for this by default, aside from using the Looper Provider > Query Builder or Custom, but that can cause complications with pagination. This would require modifications that are beyond the scope of our support. If you’d like, you can check out our One service.

You are most welcome @uxmediahouse
