Hi there. My site, www.peoplemakeplaces.com, uses Slider Revolution on the top page. It was working fine until recently we switched to a new slider, and not all slides are appearing. There are 5 slides in the slider, but only 2 appear on the page. I have cleared all caches and nothing changed. When I try hiding the slides in the beginning of the loop the later slides do appear, so all slides seem to be made/configured correctly. It’s just that somehow the slider seems to be configured for only two slides to appear, and I can’t find a way to change that.

We might need to check your slider setup. Slides may not show if it is not publish. Since there are cases it shows, that is not the issue. Please share credentials inside a secure note so we can see your setup.

In your slider settings, though you set to display a maximum of 5 items, you specifically set only two post IDs which is why there are only two sides shown in the slider.
Add more posts so that it will display more slides.
Those are two dynamic slides, but if you look under the Slide Editor you will see three manual slides as well. These are not showing. On our test server all five slides were showing, but when copied over to our site only the dynamic slides show.

Do you have any access for your staging server so that we can compare it with the live site? It may not have the same settings. We would like to check it out.
In most cases, the specific post list is the one which will limit the post slides.

Sorry, I do not have that access. It is on a freelancer’s server and he is not working with us on a project at the moment. But it is definitely not the specific post list. Is there any other solution you can think of?

I am not sure how it works on the other site because we cannot mix dynamic post slides and static slides in one slider. That is the reason you are seeing only 2 slides.
The first slide Join Us, is not published. Try to publish it and you can see it on the slider, but the other active slide will be disabled so you are left with just 2 slide again.
Try to add another post id on Specific Post List field and you can see, it will be 3 slides.
The number of post ID added on the field will determine the slides.

No, it doesn’t, but thanks anyway. I know the documentation says otherwise, but the dynamic slides and static slides were both working together on our staging site with no issues. I guess I’ll have to get a programmer to fix it again.

Aha! I think I understand now how your slider is creatively done, the initial diagnosis is correct, the slider is only showing 2 slides because there are only 2 IDs on the Specific Posts List
That 2 slides that we are constantly seeing Art People and Drawing workshop are actually about that posts (1920 and 2202) which are the pages (mister-hollywood and almost-perfect), how did I know this? turn On the navigation bullets and you’ll see what I mean.
The first 3 slides were able to make look static because of there static background-image and static layers, compared to the 4th and 5th slides that were set to have the post’s Featured Image and post’s Title. If you add a text layer with a content {{title}} on those first 3 slide, you’ll actually see the really posts that it represents.
To resolve this, please add another 3 IDs on the Specific Posts List field, ID of any of your pages (it would not matter because your first 3 slides show static layers).
e.g.
1920, 2202, 152, 706, 1702
Then the Sort Posts By set to Unsorted, and the Sort Direction is Descending (see my screenshot).
Make sure you clear your Cloudflare cache and browser’s cache after the changes so it will immediately reflect.
