I’ve noticed that some plugin shortcodes will display in a content area (in my case, in the footer), while other’s will not. Assuming both plugins are correctly installed and enabled, what reasons would one display while another wouldn’t?
Actually, I find the issue is in the footer content area. The pages will show the shortcode in a content area. So what is different about the footer?
I also added the shortcode as a widget and instead used the widget area element in the footer, still will not work.

Thank you for writing in, but sorry I cant replicate this issue on my end, would you mind sharing what shortcode you’re trying to add in the Footer?
In the meantime, please do testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
