Hi I realise this is a common topic with (some) icons appearing as squares in certain instances. I have tried the suggested fixes including flushing the website cache and inspecting the icon code to make sure its the latest font awesome version without any luck. What else can I try to get these icons appearing correctly.

I can see the issue. Upon checking, I notice you have updated Cornerstone but X theme is not.
To avoid incompatibility issues, please update both X theme and Cornerstone to X 7.0.4, Cornerstone 4.0.4 .See our changelog here.
Check again after the update.
I’ve updated templates and cornerstone, made some changes and re-saved. Purged server cache without any luck.
Feel like the issue has to have something to do with the icon set as I can change the icon to some other icons and they will display ok.

Can you please also clear your browser cache?
