Some Cornerstone page content appearing twice

Hi, I’m coming back to a client site after the holidays and I see that some of my content is appearing on the page twice. It’s not happening on all the Cornerstone-built pages; only on two that I’ve noticed so far, and the duplication is not showing up in the Cornerstone editor, only on the front end. One is a Page, the other is an MEC Event post that uses the Cornerstone editor for content. Both of these pages grab content using ACF.

I’ve tried turning off each plugin and none seem to fix the problem — not even ACF.

I will link the pages and add a login in a secure note to follow.

Hello @cgMultimedia,

Thank you for your inquiry.

We checked the pages, but we are not yet sure what is causing the duplicate content issue. Would it be possible for us to deactivate the plugins while testing? We know you’ve already done this, but sometimes it helps to check with a fresh set of eyes. You could also clone the site to a staging or development environment so that we don’t have to make changes to the live site.

Have you tried saving the content of the page as a template, deleting the page, and then creating a new one? We’ll check the site again once the staging site is ready.

Best regards,
Ismael

Hi, I’ve created a staging site. More info to come in the next secure note.

By the way, I did save the page content as a template and then created another (new) page, “Restaurant Fix”, and the same issue is appearing on that page. I’m guessing it might have something to do with a combination of the ACF and the loopers?

Hello @cgMultimedia,

Please share the user name of the staging server so we can check it on our end.

Thanks

Same as in the previous secure note. I’ll send another one.

Hi @cgMultimedia,

After thorough checking found that the rewind option was enabled in the Looper Consumer, and that is the reason behind your problem.

Please check the pages where you are having this problem and disable it. I have disable it for event details page and it is working fine.

Thanks

Thank you! That fixed it

You are most welcome, @cgMultimedia.
