Social links in sidebar styling

Hi,

I followed this thread > https://theme.co/apex/forums/topic/social-media-icons-in-sidebar-widget/ so I could get the social links in my sidebar. It’s worked nicely, but I can’t seem to get the actual social icons to show. What have I missed?
