After updating my X theme and plugins, my social icons stopped working. They didn’t disappear, but they were replaced with some strange Unicode-like symbols of the same dimensions. I’ve run the website with plugins / CSS customizations disabled and cleared my cookies, history, and cache. The problem still persists. How should I proceed with fixing this? Thanks!

Thanks for writing in! I have checked your site and it has come to my attention that you have updated Cornerstone to the latest version 3.3.8 and have forgotten to update the X theme. X 6.3.8 is now available in automatic updates! This release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (https://theme.co/changelog/). Please do update to the latest version. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
