I want to avoid conflict of Yoast SEO’s Article Schema with Snippets. For that reason, I want to still output Global Snippets schema, bun not having any Post related Schema.
I have selected the “Disabled” option in Schema Settings for the “Posts” type, but that appears not to be working. Whatever the last Schema type was selected on the Post, that one will still be present despite the “Disabled” option.
However, when I uncheck the “Posts” option in the Schema output settings, that disables the post, but it still keeps the Global Schema. This suits me, but it is not logical. I would expect that this options turns off all schema completely on selected post type.
I have cleared cache many times.
So this is what I’d expect from those settings, as per available explanations:

When I turn off Output for certain Post type like Posts, I expect all Snippet Schema to be off. It isn’t. The global Schema stays.

When select “Disabled” for certain Post type like Posts, I expect that Global Schema will continue working if not unchecked in the Output settings, and the Post Schema gets completely removed. It doesn’t. The Post Schema stays despite the “Disabled” function.
