Slowing down site & Popover issue after 2.5.0 Pro update

Hi guys!

After updating X Pro to 2.5.0 version, it appears that our site loading time is, at least and even after purging all the caches, multiplied by 2.

Furthermore, the Popovers add an undesirable title field (see enclosed screenshot) over the initial one.

With thanks in advance,

Victor

This could just be a caching issue. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

I noticed that you are using CloudFlare too. Please login to your CloudFlare account and purge your site cache.

And please clear your browser cache too. You may use private browsing mode in testing your site to make sure that you are viewing the latest codes from the updates and not the cached version in your browser.

Hope this helps. Kindly let us know.

Hello @RueNel,

As mentioned above, all caches (W3 Total Cache, CloudFlare, browser) have been scrupulously purged, and even several times, but without success.

The fact is now, all Popovers keep their undesirable/redundant title field over the initial one.

As for the JS error, I have no clue on how to resolve that issue.

Best regards,

Victor

Hi Victor,

I’ve confirmed the popover issue is a but with the latest version. This has been fixed for the point release that will be available later today on automatic updates.
