Dear reader, i am still facing a extrwemly slow website, (www.insidehandball.nl) you wrote me back to take a look at: I see a loading Process from VimeoCDN this makes the loadingtime , i have no idea where i can find this to make the site load faster… Regards Herman

It’s true and this loads about 35 seconds http://secure-a.vimeocdn.com/js/froogaloop2.min.js

Though I’m not sure how it got there, the code is optimized by Autoptimize plugin so I can’t really trace it. Please check for the following first:

  1. If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins.

  2. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  4. Temporarily removed your custom code but make sure to back it up, then test it again if the issue remains. Else, please provide your admin login credentials in the secure note for further checking.

I myself isn’t sure where that URL is coming from, I just provided a troubleshooting guide that could help you determine the cause. I recommend providing your admin login credentials in the secure note so i could troubleshoot it too.

Hi Herman,

The cause of the issue is Huge IT Responsive Slider plugin, it adds the http://secure-a.vimeocdn.com/js/froogaloop2.min.js which loads around 35 seconds. Please deactivate that plugin or contact the plugin author for the fix.
