Slow loading due to Pro Theme

My site seems to be loading slowly due to the them and I was wondering if you might be able to assist in this. This is the message I received from the hosting company:

Using WP-CLi and the command wp profile stage --all, I was able to find the slow loading time comes due to the theme pro.

Moreover, due to the functions.php script:

We always do our best to make our theme as small and as efficient as possible. But please kindly consider that there are more than one point that might cause the performance issue.

We also constantly review the performance of the internal theme code for each release and try to improve the performance as much as possible. Just to be sure that we are on the same page, at the time being you will not be able to do anything on the internal theme code. Even if we manage to improve the performance further it will be available for future releases and not now. At the moment we suggest that you follow the point we mentioned above and you will see it will have a huge impact on the performance already.

Thanks. I think I fixed the issue. I removed some plugins and it is loading much quicker now.
