Slider Revolution Youtube Gallery not working as espected

Hello, I’m trying to do this:

I’ve created a slider based on “Youtube Stream” and entered the required data. (see attached image).

In the slide #1 settings I have chosen Stream video + image (see image #2 in post below)

I can now see the video - and I can navigate to the others using the arrows (see image #3 in post below), but I don’t get the list of other videos that is shown in the above example.

I tried to click on the buttons under “Customization is a breeze” (see image #4 in post below) on https://revolution.themepunch.com/wordpress-youtube-gallery/ but they are not taking me anywhere except https://revolution.themepunch.com/wordpress-youtube-gallery/#features

Please help,

Thanks,
Heine

All the best!

Thanks. I added a secure note to the reply above.

Hi there,

That Stream Video + Image is just a slide option, what you need is thumbnail navigation.

I disabled your slider’s arrow and bullet navigation then enabled thumbnail navigation. Then changed the preset value of your thumbnail to Erinyen and positioned to outer bottom. And lastly, I changed the background color of the thumbnail wrapper the same as the sample. It’s all in slider settings

Cheers!

Thank you!

This really helped a lot. Looks much better now.

Two questions:

  1. Sometimes the size of the video slider hides the top and the bottom of the video. Replicate by going to http://www.heinekolltveit.com/transformative-innsikter/ and change the size of the browser window. However, this does not happen at the example at https://revolution.themepunch.com/wordpress-youtube-gallery/

  2. Is there any way to add small navigation arrows for the thumbnails so it would be easier to see and navigate them?

Thank you.

Hi @heine,

  1. I’m not experiencing the issue you described. When I resized the browser, I see the whole frame. I compared it to the separate Youtube window.

  2. Regretfully, there is no specific arrow navigation for the thumbnails. You need to use the main arrow navigation in the slider.

Thanks.

Hello again,

Thanks for your answer. I still experienced the same, but tried some stuff on random and got it working.

For others having the same issue what I did was to go to slider settings and change Layer Grid Size for Desktop Large to 1240 x 700 px (was 1240x600). This might vary depending on individual configuration though. And then I turned off custom grid sizing for all other sizes.

Hope this is able to help others.

Glad to hear and thanks for sharing your solution.
