Slider revolution will not upgrade

I have a registered pro version. Slider Revoution will not upgrade and prompts me to register to upgrade.
The pro license number is of no use for this. What to do?

Thanks for writing to us.

Since the Slider Revolution you have is bundled with our Theme (PRO), you don’t need to validate it. The plugin functions 100% without license registration.

We provide the updates for these extensions rather than from the plugin developers’ automatic updater. We always try and upgrade as soon as possible when a new plugin release is made to ensure our customers are using the latest version.
Just ignore the purchase license code and enjoy using the Slider Revolution plugin.

In order to update the plugin, you can disable and delete the plugin temporally and install it again from install from here.

WP-ADMIN -->Dashboard-->PRO-->Validation

If I delete the plugin and reinstall Slider revolution according to your recipe, will I loose all my sliders?

Hello @kludrik

You are not going to lose your slides since WordPress does not remove the data table from the database even after the Slider Revolution plugin is deleted.

On the safe side, You can take the backup of your slider and download it at your place and then manually import the slider after reinstallation of the Revolution Slider plugin.

I am receiving a warning from Slider Revolution stating:

If you updated to WP 5.5, please DON‘T SAVE any projects in Slider Revolution or Essential Grid until updating to versions 6.2.18 and 3.0.0 respectively. Here is a link to their blog post:

My current version is 6.2.17 which is showing as current.
They are requesting a Purchase Code to upgrade.
Will X be updating this soon?

Hey @ccwadsworth,

According to our Version Compatibility page, Slider Revolution 6.2.18 is already available.

If you don’t see an update notification, please go to Dashboard > Updates and click on the Check Again button.

If you still don’t see the update notification after that, you need to manually update Slider Revolution. To avoid lost data, it’s best that you export all your sliders first. Then, uninstall Slider Revolution and install it again via X > Validation.

In case you’ll use Essential Grid, version 3.0.0 is still being tested for compatibility with our themes. Once passed, our Version Compatibility page will be updated.
