Recently upgraded an old site last night. Fixed all issues but 1. My video slider wasn’t working correctly. Revslider is up to date. X is up to date.
So I started testing with new sliders and video elements…
When creating and running HTML5 videos in Revsldier or the Cornerstone Video element, the video plays, but there is no sound, and no controls, and it autoplays but I don’t want that. (note: can’t find any settings for these options in revslider)
There are 3 videos (mp4, ogv, webm) with same title: miidear_1694x720 and aspect ratio that you can find in the media library - all work.
I’ve tested all 3 videos without the slider and they are fine and play normally with controls by accessing the media library and each file individually.
I’ve looked like mad through all the slider settings.
I’ve tried disabling, deleting, reinstalling the plugin.
I’ve tried using the elements: Classic Revolution Slider, Classic Raw Content, Content Area, Video element
I’ve tried creating a test page to test the video’s and slider with videos.
I’ve tried creating brand new slides.
I’ve tried more than 1 browser & clearing caches.
I’ve tried different videos other than the one I need.
Losing my hair! What am I missing.
