Always been very impressed with X Theme but starting to get very frustrated with it. First I had multiple websites presenting wrongly because of updates and plugins. Then I had the Wordpress backend not responding correctly because of update issues. And now, after sorting those first issues and getting Slider Revolution to install, it is asking me for an activation code. However, it is my understanding this is packaged with X Theme. I think I’m correct in implying that Slider Revolution packaged with X Theme does not give you access to the template section of the plugin and that I need to download and install manually. However, I can’t see where I’m supposed to download the template without activating with a code I do not have.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Yes, you are correct. There is no need to activate the plugin because the Slider Revolution plugin is a bundled plugin into the theme. Regretfully, the creators of the Slider Revolution plugin have changed their policy which started when they release version 5 wherein it requires you to activate the plugin or ask you to purchase a separate plugin license code if you want to access their templates. In the previous version, they also provide several demo templates that can be used even if you do not activate the plugin. Now, that they have changed their policy, the demo templates were removed, and that the templates are now made only available EXCLUSIVELY to users who have purchased a separate plugin license. Please understand that we do not have any control over this policy. We, at Themeco, will still provide plugin updates since it is a bundled plugin.

So you’re saying that Slider Revolution is bundled with X Theme but completely redundant because you need to purchase it separately anyway?

The Slider Revolution plugin is a bundled plugin with the X theme. We will be providing you plugin updates. You can use it to create a slider and all of the slider features for your site without registering or activating the plugin. The Slider Revolution template library, on the other hand, is exclusively available to users who have purchased a separate plugin license. These policy changes were from the creators of the plugin and we do not have any control over it.
