Slider Revolution -Record not found- after following suggestions

I am adding Revolution sliders to a page but when I do the page doesn’t load and the error message “record not found” appears instead of the whole page content.

I have flushed the cache. I have deactivated the plugin and reactivated it.

I read in previous tickets that this error shows when the plugin is not activated. I have triple checked this. The plugin is activated.

What do I need to do? Also, I only need a simple two image slider. Is Revolution the best option for this? Or should I use the classic slider?

Hi JA,

Please login through FTP then go to wp-content/plugins then delete the current revslider directory that is in there.

Once deleted, go back to the admin area and reinstall Rev Slider from the X options.

Let us know how it goes,

Hi,

I checked and it looks like an issue with your 18017 slider, when I try to load other slider your page loads fine.
Try to re-create your slider and load it in your page.

Thank you. I have that sorted now. However, in rows where I have 1/3 + 2/3 columns, how can I make the 1/3 slider line up with the vertical centre of the 2/3 slider? Thanks in advance!

and add this code to element CSS of each column.

Thank you. I’ll give that a try.

In the meantime I’m experimenting with Envira gallery instead. There are some aspects I like better but can’t get it to display correctly. It is showing all the thumbnails instead of a featured image. I’ve looked at the Envira documentation online and it says there is a featured image function which is not visible to me. How do I set a featured image in Envira?

I tried that CSS and it works for some rows and not for others. What is the variable?

Thanks for updating the thread.

Please activate Enable Standalone under Envira Gallery > Settings > Standalone to display the option for Featured image. For more information, please take a look at following tutorial.

Thank you. I have enabled standalone on Envira, and added a featured image to my slideshows. However the featured image is still not showing as standalone. What do I need to do? Thanks in advance.

You seem to forget to insert a featured image.

Please edit your Envira gallery and insert a featured image.

I do have a featured image in the other galleries - the one you looked at isn’t displayed in the same way and no, I don’t have one for it. But the others I do. See attached.

Also attached is a screenshot of the page the envira galleries are on showing that the envira galleries are now not even visible (although mouse-over shows the alt text and proves that if they were visible they would still not be displaying standalone). I’ve had this issue with envira galleries in the past hence the use of slider revolution - the sliders that are visible below the envira ones.

In summary: How do I get the standalone/featured image selected to show? What’s stopping the Envira galleries from being visible?

Hi,

I checked and can see a lot of images are returning 404 which explains why your images are not showing.

I suspect the jetpack plugin is causing the issue, can you try deactivating it and see if the issue is resolved.
