Slider revolution problem on mobile

Hello,

I’m using several slider revolution sliders on my webpage - all of them simply show several background images.
I’m having a strange problem with one of the sliders (Espaço) when i open my site on mobile - some of the slides images are not shown.
On desktop everything works fine and all pictures appear correctly…
Am i doing something wrong? Can it be a file size problem? What’s the best size for a image background to be ok in mobile?
Thank you for your help,

    Nuno

Hi @nualexan,

Thanks for reaching out.

They are displaying okay, but just loading too slow. In Desktop, you probably have the cache of the images which is why it loads faster. I thought they aren’t loading in desktop too, but upon waiting, it all loads okay and the same on my mobile.

Try reducing the number of slides or size of images, or optimize your site with CDN (like CloudFlare).

Thanks!

Hello Rad,

Thank you for your quick reply.
Despite all my efforts to reduce the pictures size (i wanted to keep the number of images), the problem persisted.
I tried a lot of things then…
When i disabled carousel slider and put standard slider the problem seems to disappear even if i use larger files.
I think there must be some kind of bug with slider revolution when presenting carousel silder on mobile devices.
The turnarround solution for me was to put 2 different sliders (one with carousel and other standard) in different sections and customize the appearance of each section in function of the screen size.
Do you think this is the best solution? Does it have some impact in the website opening time?
Thanks for your reply!
Nuno

Hi @nualexan,

Yes, that workaround is okay, in fact, it should be that way since slider option for visibility is very few (like just hiding the layer). Hiding the entire slider and display a minimal one should work.

Thanks!
