Slider Revolution plugin update broke all sliders

I updated to the latest version of Slider Revolution and now all sliders built with the plugin are broken.

The section with the slider shortcode is showing up blank and I have an error in the console.

Hello @NinjaTeX,

Thanks for asking.

I see that you are using Pro Theme version 2.3.8. Please update Pro Theme to latest version 2.4.6 to avoid any compatibility issues. You can refer following resources to update.

Thanks.

Thanks.

I updated Pro Theme to latest version 2.4.6. Still seeing the same error in the console.

Hi @NinjaTeX,

Please lear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use.

If clearing cache does not work, please deactivate your caching plugins for a while and do a test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!

I am having the same problem, and when I deactivated W3Total Cache, it went away. Now to figure out where to go from here…

Hello Cindy,

After doing the updates (whether WordPress core, theme or plugins) always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. You might also need to clear your browser cache first before testing the newly updated site.

Hope this helps.
