Slider Revolution Plugin install times out

Hey,

I’ve just installed the X theme and when I attempt to install Slider Revolution it times out after about 5 minutes, I have tried from both X > Validation > Extensions > Slider Revolution and the Bulk Theme Manager without success.

Any suggestions?

Please try with the following stesp:

1. Check your PHP Max Execution Time and set it for 180 for optimal usage (https://thimpress.com/knowledge-base/how-to-increase-maximum-execution-time-for-wordpress-site/).
2. Make sure your WordPress directories have the permission correct: https://wordpress.org/support/article/changing-file-permissions/

If this issue is still persist, please contact to your hosting provider about this.

1. PHP Max Execution Time is set to 300
2. Permissions are correct

Other plugins are installing as expected, any other suggestions?

Hi There,

Please check if there is an existing revslider folder on /wp-content/plugins/ via FTP. If yes, try to delete it and then try installing the plugin again. See this thread as guidance.
