Just went in and looked the other day at our website:
Noticed that the slider at the main page header is missing layers that are present in the editor but missing from the live site. Any ideas on what could be causing this problem. I have cleared the cache and have viewed on different browsers and have not been able to locate the error yet.

Thanks for providing the information. This issue could be because of the Lazy Loading of images. Please edit your slider and temporarily disable it so that you can see the difference. If needed, please use the Smart or Single lazy load option.

Upon checking I am getting the following error:

Your site is secure on HTTPS and those images seems to be uploaded on http only. This might happen if you just implement SSL. To fixed it. can you try uploading those images again and then reinsert it on your slider? This way it will now be on https. Let us know how this goes.
