Slider Revolution Not Displaying all Images

Hi there,

I posted about this a little while ago but the post has been closed since I tried the fixes suggested in it and they didn’t work (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/revolution-slider-not-displaying-all-images/33433).

The revolution slider on the below page will fail to display some images. It is intermittent, and seems to mainly confined to mobile (though my client says it does it on his desktop too). If you scroll through the slider images on the page below you should see the issue — please note it takes me 40 slides sometimes before it does it, my client says slide 8 is where it normally does it on his devices:

The thumbnails will display, but the main images are just an empty space. I have found reloading the page will solve it, but then if you scroll through more images past the point where they disappeared previously, another set of images will fail to display.

Your help much appreciated.
Cheers!

Hello Matt,

Thanks for writing in! I have tested your site in different browsers on my end and I could not replicate the issue. It could be that the images were not fully loaded in your end. Please apply lazy load into your slider. For more details, please check out this documentation: https://www.themepunch.com/faq/images-not-loading-on-front-end/

Hope this helps.

Hi Ruenel,

Thank you for that, I’ve checked and lazy load is already set. Any other ideas? It’s actually happening more frequently now — often on slide 8 which my client had been saying was the usual point it would do it, but I couldn’t make it happen, now it does.

Thanks for your help.
Matt

Hi Matt,

It seems that the conflict is with the WP Smush Pro plugin. Could you please try disabling it and test your issue again.

Then update all of your outdated plugins including Slider Revolution, WP Smush Pro and re-test your issue again.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hi mldarshana,

Thanks very much for the suggestions. I’ve done those but the problem persists. Any more ideas?

Thanks for your continued help.
Cheers!

Hi @TheoryUnit,

As of now, I could not be able to replicate the issue.

This could be because of the caching of your hosting. Please try to contact your hosting if they have a hosting caching and please try to increase your memory limit allocation because sometimes, hosting does not permit manual increase of memory limit.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

Hi Nico,

Thanks for that. So the hosting guys replicated the issues and have increased the memory limit to 512MB and made some other optimisations in htc access. And whilst it now appears to be fine on desktop, the problem still occurs on my client’s mobile devices.

Any other ideas?
Your help greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
Matt

Hi @TheoryUnit,

I just checked and images are appearing on my mobile. What browser you’re testing it with? And please clear your mobile browser cache and test it again.

The slider resources and scripts are just the same for desktop and mobile, it just responds to different width.

Thanks!
