Slider Revolution missing

I recently updated to the latest version of X theme. My slider has gone. On the X theme “validation” page, Slider Revolution is shown as a plugin to be installed. When I try to install I get a message that there is already a destination folder. When I login to FTP I can see a folder revslider which I believe is the installed plugin. When I go to the plugins page in Wordpress, revolution slider is not listed as installed or activated. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I’m thinking I need to somehow delete and reinstall?

Thanks for writing in.

To fix this problem, you need to reinstall your Revolution Slider. To reinstall it, you need to remove or delete your revolution slider in your FTP. then install it again in your Validation page.

Don’t forget to check your setup if it is updated to the latest version.
