Slider Revolution JS conflict issues

Hey there guys,

First of, love x-theme. It has been my go to builder for the last couple of months and my clients all seem to love it.

However I have stumbled upon a slight issue that i cannot seem to resolve. I have 2 main pages, one Dutch and one English. The original homepage(dutch) displays the slider perfectly and does so with out any hiccups. The English page however does seem to load but display the following error message at the bottom of the website:

function revslider_showDoubleJqueryError(sliderID) { var errorMessage = “Revolution Slider Error: You have some jquery.js library include that comes after the revolution files js include.”; errorMessage += "
This includes make eliminates the revolution slider libraries, and make it not work."; errorMessage += "

To fix it you can:
1. In the Slider Settings -> Troubleshooting set option: Put JS Includes To Body option to true."; errorMessage += "
2. Find the double jquery.js include and remove it."; errorMessage = “” + errorMessage + “”; jQuery(sliderID).show().html(errorMessage); }

The pages aside from the text are virtually the same. I have tried the following steps to resolve it.

  • Changed the global revolution slider settings to include the JS on everypage.
  • Changed the Troubleshoot option to include the JS in the body.
  • Im not using any plugins not included with x-theme, but tried turning them of one by one.
  • Reinstalled Revolution Slider

I wanted to try out the first option the error message describes(removing the duplicate JS), but can’t seem to locate it.

Any help would be dearly appreciated.

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! I have logged in and check your site. I already tried everything and yet nothing is working. There could be a corrupt file somewhere since none of the settings is applied to the page. We might need to manually re install the plugin. Please log in to your ftp and browse in plugins folder wp-content/plugins/ location. Please delete the revslider folder. After that, go back to your WordPress dashboard and go to X > Overview > Extensions and re install Revolution Plugin again.

PS: please do not delete the Rev Slider plugin in the plugin section in the dashboard because it might delete the sliders as well. You will have to do it manually.

Please let us know how it goes.

Hey there Ruenel,

Just deleted (through FTP) and reinstalled. Still having the same issues. Even checked the premissions on the server and everything is set to 755, so that should be ok.

Thanks for the suggestions

Just made an empty page. Put in the slider and i am having no issues. Is there any possibility to copy the mainpage(dutch one) without using the template function?

Just fixed it
I changed the template from No container, header and footer to default and back. And the issues seemed to be gone! thanks for looking into it tho support! You guys are awesome
