Slider Revolution irregular looping stoppage

Hello,

I have tried reading through the forums but haven’t been able to locate any posts that resembles my problem.

My Slider Revolution doesn’t seem to be working properly.

I’ve added 3 slides (1 image, 2 videos). My total slider size is 864.29KB,

Whether I select “stop slide after” on and loop 100 times or leave it off. The slider stops working irregularly. What I mean by that is, it sometimes stops on slide 1,2 or 3. There is no consistency. Then there’s times when the slider loops all 3 slides non-stop.

What I need is the slider to be on a constant loop, never ending.

Can someone help, please?

Looking forward to your investigation and reply!

Hey Aleks,

It is hard to tell what is causing the issue because it is intermittent. Can you try the solution suggested by ThemePunch here.

Thanks.

Hi Christian,

Thanks for the link. I tried and the same problem is still happening.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! Please disable “Stop Slider After” in the settings. You may have an infinite scroll if you disable this option. And also play around the video settings. The video must stop when the you click on the next slide. The video playing in the background will affect the browser performance and will definite affect the display of the slider as it might even crash either the slider or eat up more memory and you’ll experience lag in the browser.

Hope this helps.

Hi there,

“Stop Slide After” was already disabled.

I’m not sure whether if it’s the videos causing the irregularities.

I have another question, which may help solve this problem:
If I have two browser tabs open (with chrome browser), and I split the browsers on the computer screen. Therefore one browser is on the left and the other on the right. When I click off the browser with the Rev Slider, the Slider STOPS sliding.

Shouldn’t the rev slider continue to work even when the browser is not active?

Hi there,

Could you try it again? Seems to be working okay now after clearing the cache. And it now loops on my view.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Thanks for checking in.

I’ve cleared all of my cache, and I’m still having the same problem. It loops through a few times then it stops on any slider and doesn’t loop anymore.

I have another website that is using the rev slider and that rev slider loops unless I’m clicked off of the browser. Shouldn’t the rev slider continue to loop whether you’re on the browser or not?

Is there another similar slider to use instead?

I’m hoping to have this slider issue resolved by the end of this week. Next week is the targeted launch.

Thank you.

Hi there,

I checked again and it still working, could you test it on another device? Or are you testing it in a specific page? Please provide a video recording of what’s happening on your end.

Thanks!
