Slider revolution font size on mobile

Hi,
I have setup theme x, everything is working fine but i can’t seem to setup the font size to adapt when viewed on mobile.

Font size shows up very small on mobile, would like it to scale the same way as it does on the main text of the page.

Any help?

Thanks

Hi there,

Would you please kindly check this video, it completely describes tips and tricks about responsive slider design including the Typography:

https://www.themepunch.com/faq/slider-revolution-responsive-tutorial-5-0/

Thank you.

Hi Chris, just watched the video, didn’t find any mention of adaptive text size besides changing the grid size to custom which completely messes up the rest of the slider.

Can you please point me to the specific place or code which i need to change to achieve this?

After some searching i have found that many other people are having the exact same problem but no solution as of yet.
Thanks

Hi there,

I did a Google Search regarding this and found this article that might be helpful:

https://www.themepunch.com/faq/increase-size-of-text-on-mobile/

Check the Google Search and it might give you ideas on how to set up the text correctly on mobile devices. In the worst case scenario, you can use the method mentioned in the Video to hide the layout on mobile devices and add a specific layer with fixed text side only for mobile.

Thank you.

Tried adding the span class and javascript code, just made the text smaller and not responsive at all.

Surely there must be a simpler solution to this?

Hi,

You can actually change the font size base on device/screen width.

2. Screen/Device

To use this option, you first have to enable a Custom Grid Size for additional screens/devices.

Toggling between the different options here will allow you to style and position your Layer content based on the selected screen/device.

For example, if you had a text-based layer, you could assign it a font-size of 64px, with a top-right position for desktop view. Then if you switch to the smartphone view, you could change the layer’s font-size to 32px, and give it a bottom-left position.
