Anyway, the message I have while installing Slider Revolution on a clean X is this:
“Installing…Error encountered”. When clicking Details I have a blank form. I can see that the files are actually downloaded to the /wp-content/upgrade folder. I’ve tried to manually move them to /wp-content/plugins, but that did nothing, so I reverted. Please help this is a must have for me.

It might be the permission issue. Please make sure the folders and files have the correct permission following on this article:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions.
Also login to your FTP account and check if the revslider folder is already existed.
If it’s existed, please delete/rename it then try to install it again from the X Dashboard.
