Hi CY,
I want to clarify what you meant by “crash.” To my understanding, you meant that it broke the way the sliders created by Slider Revolution looked both on the front-end and on the back-end. Am I correct?
Usually, the term “crash” refers to the site being down so I just want to make sure what you are referring to.
Assuming that the first meaning is what you mean here, can you provide us your site’s URL and login credentials on a Secure Note so we can investigate this matter?
As for reinstallation, have you tried using FTP to reinstall the old version?
Hi, thanks for writing back. i did re-install the last version: didnt work.
because of GDPR-Reasons i cant give you access. see the screenshot. New Version of Sl-Rev is crashed in Backend and needed to repairt the sliders at all…
Thanks,
Cy.
Hey Cy,
I’m sorry but we could not tell what the cause of the issue is just by looking at a screenshot. In all my test sites, I’ve updated to the latest bundled Slider Revolution and there’s no problems. There might be something in your setup that is causing the issue.
Can you instead copy your site to a staging server and give us WordPress Admin and FTP access of the staging site?
If we can’t login, we can only assume and that might take lots of back and forths. Please also try everything in the troubleshooting guide below. You might already be familiar with them or have done them but you haven’t mentioned that you already tried them.
If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches then temporarily deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins.
If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and temporarily disable optimization services.
Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Contact your host to increase your allocated memory or do it yourself by adding this code in your wp-config.php
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );
Thanks.
(…) did all this.
Found it!
Rev-Slider needs full Google-Font Support.
Avoid using “Remove Google Fonts References” or Sort of Plugins!

Cyrock.
