Slider Revolution and WP-Maps Pro not showing

Hey Guys,
after a long time my hoster updated their PHP Version and I had to update the site to the newest version.
After that my Revolution Slider isn’t working anymore. It says “Oops Slider with alias x slider re 7 not found”
I changed nothing to the slider so do you have an idea what I can do?

Also my Google Maps Plugin WP-Maps Pro isn’t showing anymore. There is only a black space where it used to be. That is odd, because when I go to the WP-Pro in my login area (it’s the “Karten” button) the map is correct and showing. Please have a look. Thanks.

Thanks for writing in! I have logged in to your site and I only found 1 slider DWL Mainslider. There are no other sliders in it. Please make sure that you haven’t accidentally deleted the slider or that the update may have corrupted it.

I am also not sure where you have added the map. This can be just a caching issue where the map does not show. It could also be caused by a plugin conflict, amongst other things. Please check out this troubleshooting article here and follow the instructions for the following sections (where appropriate):

  • Testing for Plugin Conflict
  • Theme Update
  • Child Theme
  • CSS/JS Customization
  • Disabling Cache
  • Disabling CDN

Yes, you are absolutely right. There is only the “DWL Mainslider” and that’s the one I selected in Cornerstone to be displayed above the head. That’s the reason why I don’t understand that the theme is looking for a slider named “x slider re7”
I also tried to create a new slider from scratch and selected it. But it is searching for an absolutely different one when I try to load the page.
But if I name the slider alias “x slider rs 7” the error disappears. But then there is only black space and no slider.

To the Map. I added it under the “story” section on the page with its shortcode.

Before the update it worked fine.

Hi @Benjamin1983,

I have created a new test page and assigned the slider revolution and added the map too, and it works perfectly fine. And didn’t find the issue with the slider you mentioned in your comment.
There might be some broken HTML or content is the cause of the JavaScript issue which may be blocking the map to load on the page, I would suggest you check by deleting the section one by one till the issue is fixed, and the last one you have deleted before the fix is the actual issue.

THank you for helping. I found the error. When I select my Menu “One Page Navigation” at the “Meta Settings” in Cornerstone the Map and the slider disappears. When I select “Deactivated” the menu still works and everything is showing fine. :slight_smile:
Thats a little odd but for me it is working now
