Slider Revolution and RTL no video?

Hi there,

I have to setup a RTL Version. All is working fine, excepting slider revolution.
If I change to the RTL Version (Arabic), Slider revolution did not show any video. However, normal Text, images and Layers are displayed.
Any ideas?

Thank you,
mickna

Hi there,

There seem to be some problems regarding the images and videos on RTL mode for the Revolution Slider. The only thing I have found on their documentation is to set the Arrows, Bullets, and Thumbs to the RTL mode:

https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/navigation/

Try to enable those options and see the result. If the problem persists kindly get back to us and we will do our best to contact the Revolution Slider developer regarding this, but the fix for this will be on their shoulders and we can not give any estimation or guarantee for that.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi Christopher,

thank you.
I am also in contact with theme punch and I am waiting for their replay (Ticket #12015).

I know this settings and tried them without any success.
So if you could contact the developers I would be glad. Maybe it makes sense if you also ask them… :slight_smile:

I can’t check your translated page because https://taurus-systems.de/ar/ redirects to https://taurus-systems.de and the latter shows the video. Please check.

Thanks.

Hi Christian,

sorry for that. After it is not working I have disabled AR on the live site.
Please use the development site:

Hi there,

I don’t see the slider assigned to the translated page, you can check it here http://dev-taurus.i-v.de/wp-admin/post.php?post=1338&action=edit&lang=ar. Look for Slider settings above and below masthead, both have no slider assigned to them. That’s why it’s not displaying.

You’re using WPML, and it creates multiple copies of a single page to create a different version for each language. Hence, you’ll have to edit each page even if it’s a translated page to assign the sliders.

Thanks!

Dear Rad,

thank you for your time.
a) The Slider I am talking about is in a section in corner stone.
b) there IS a slider in the Master Head. WPML is running in String-Translation and therefore linked to the main missile Page.
So yes there is a slider and as I said Theme Punch is also looking for a solution and they work with that slider.

See:
https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cb602II80v

This is an actually cast with Theme Co. They have managed to show the slider in AR. Unfortunately we can’t see the slider now in ES and EN.

Maybe we should wait for Theme Punch before all persons try to fix that issue.

Thank you,
Michael

KC from Theme Punch managed it!
Just for the record if anyone else has a similar problem:

Insert this CSS in the slider settings:

.rtl .tp-caption.tp-videolaye r{
    left:-100% !important;
}

Best,
Michael

Thank you for sharing the solution, Michael.

Cheers!
