i am using slider revolution and now i want to creat a new slide using a template. when i click on it it says i must activate the plugin. is the full version of slider revolution included in x or not?

Thanks for writing in! If you want to use premium templates, you will need to purchase a license from them. Or else you can search for a free template and import them to your revolution slider.

its a bit confusing what to do in order to use the template.

The online import is only functional for Revolution Slider premium, that is when you purchase a separate license for that plugin.
You can just use the local import and you can download the sliders from here:
https://revolution.themepunch.com/free-slider-exchange/
