Slider not displaying when placed below masthead

Greetings,
I updated to latest Cornerstone, and now my full screen rev slider will not load.

What I do is:

  1. create page as Blank - No Container - No Header - No Footer
  2. I then go into Cornerstone Settings > Slider Settings > Above or Below Mastehead (both don’t work) and choose the slider
  3. Before the update, this would then fill the browser with ONLY the rev slider selected.

Now, I only get a blank page. Help!

I have also ensure that “Include RevSlider libraries globally” option in Slider Revolution > Global Settings is enabled, still no go.

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Are you using CloudFlare or may have installed a caching plugin like WordFence, W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache? Please keep in mind that after doing every updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Hi @RueNel
We do not have any cache plugins at all. The site is an Intranet site, and is not accessible externally at all. So no CloudFlare and no cache plugins.

The slider was actually displaying properly, right up until the X Theme updates (Theme & Cornerstone).

I’ll also note that we’ve tried disabling third party plugins with no luck. There are also no console errors.

I have another site having the issue, which is externally reachable. I have rolled it back though to show it is working:
http://sakuraits.com/test2/ I would update to show the break, but it is a prod site.

Here is the slider displaying pre-update, working normally (on the intranet site):

After the updates (on both sites), it just shows this black page. It also does not show in Cornerstone. It also does not work when creating a new page and setting in the WP Editor without using Cornerstone:

Versions from Working site:
Slider Rev - 5.4.6.2
Cornerstone - 2.0.4
X-Theme - 4.6.4

Versions AFTER the update, where Rev Slider no longer works on the frontend:
Slider Rev - 5.4.6.2 **Note that Rev Slider was not updated
Cornerstone - 2.1.3
X-Theme - 5.2.2

Also, getting this when trying to preview in Cornerstone. Takes a while, but eventually states "Conflict on the front end of your site has prevented the preview from loading"

EDIT:

So all the issues are still relevant, especially the ‘conflict’ error and rev slider not showing in Cornerstone. It looks like the slider does actually load, it just doesn’t show video. Text shows fine. This is strange since Rev Slider did not update, only XTheme and Cornerstone.

Hi There,

We’re sorry you are having this issue. We wanted to check but we need you to share URL and credentials where the issue exist. Since you have done basic troubleshooting already, please include FTP credentials to on the secure note.

The problem is the site is an intranet site hosted internally. You would need to be issued VPN access to our internal network.

What if I gave you a copy of the site?

Hi there,

Instead of giving us a copy, how about setting up one copy in another hosting accessible by both of us? So we could check it both?

Thanks!
