Slider not appearing

Hello,
I’ve been through the forum topics and cannot get the slider to work. I want an autoplay scroll of testimonials. I’ve added them as images and I’ve also created them as posts. I added the slider element that comes with cornerstone and the images don’t show. I installed the modern slider post scroll template and watched the training video and I can’t figure it out.

Ideally, it would pull from the post category “praise” automatically.

Hello @mizschmitty,

Thanks for writing to us.

I checked your site it seems that there is a plugin conflict issue I would suggest you please deactivate the “WPL” plugin and then check it again.

Please note you must troubleshoot the common issue before posting a new thread. Please remember that we don’t provide any third-party plugin support. It is out of the support scope.

Thanks.

That was the problem. Thank you.

How do I configure either the regular slider or the modern slider to pull posts only from the “praise” category?

Hello @mizschmitty,

You can use the slider Inline element, where you need to set the Looper Provide as Query String and set the category from the Taxonomy.

I have set up one slider with Looper on your test page please have a look at the setting. Please note looper is going to pull the post which is published, I noticed that you have kept the post in draft mode so it is not going to display it.

Thanks

Thank you! I had to switch them to draft b/c they were showing on the home page section where I have recent blog posts, even though I thought I had that section set to pull only from the success stories category.

Can you please tell me what I’ve done wrong here? Or do I need to start a new topic with this question?

Hello @mizschmitty,

Yes, it would display the posts since it is a recent blog post I would suggest you use the Post element and set the Looper Provide as Query builder and set the category from that taxonomy as shown on the above post, it would filter the post and display only specific category posts.

Hope it helps
Thanks
