Hi @deciplex,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I tested the Slider element in my local environment and I’m not able to reproduce the issue, this could be related to your setup. Please check for the following first:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/docs/version-compatibility. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/docs/product-updates for more details.

  2. If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If the issue persists then please get back to us with the result of the steps above and URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case.

Thanks!

Hi,
Sorry for the delay, everything has been updated and no cache plugin or CDN is used.
I deactivated all plugins except ACF and CPT UI. Bug is still here.
I’ll attach infos in a secure note. Thank you

Hey @deciplex,

It is not a bug. In your screenshot, the “Scroll By” option is set to Content so the slider will scroll to the next to slides since you have selected to display 2 slides at a time. Try changing it to Slide so that when you click on the navigation buttons, it will go to the next slider and will just cycle from each individual slide.

Hope this makes sense.

Hi,

I understand how it is supposed to scroll slides 2 by 2 and that’s we want and need.
As shown in my video, the problem is that sometimes the slider scrolls way more than 2 by 2 when I click once on the navigation buttons. It’s confusing for the user and mostly, our client.

Hey @deciplex,

I checked your bug URL and clicking the slider arrows always show 2 slides and it doesn’t skip slides.

What specific device are you using? Please provide the operating system and browser name and version.

By the way, your video can’t be accessed because the link has expired.

Hey @christian,
I updated the video link : https://we.tl/t-aNOdVb3ex5
I’m on MacOs M1 on chrome Version 115.0.5790.114, it has only been reported on Safari Version 16.5 (18615.2.9.11.4). It doesn’t seem to bug on Firefox.
Thank you

Hey @deciplex,

Thank you for providing the updated video. I have replicated the issue on my end and it’s not just on MacOS. The issue happens only if you click on the slider arrow fast.

I’ll post this issue in our internal issue tracker so this case will be queued to be fixed by our development team.

You can check out Changelog if a fix for this is included in one of the succeeding updates.

Thank you very much @christian , have a good day

You’re most welcome!
