Slide Nav Confusion

Hello,

In the lower part of this site https://devberlad.com is a slide. The left Nav button tends to shift the view one item to the left, but the right button zooms the carousel all the way to the end on the right.

Overall the left/right nav seems surprising to me and site visitors. Is there something we’ve done wrong?

Bill.

Hello Bill,

Thanks for writing in! In your Slider Container, you need to set the Slide Options to contain at the edges and scroll by content.

Hello,

I’ve made the slide settings the same as in your screenshot, the right arrow still zooms the content completely to the right. Can you look again?

Bill

I tried remaking the slider, but the arrows still behave in an inconsistent way.

Hi Bill,

I have checked your website and found two different sections with slider one is Browse our practices and another one is Testimonials and the navigation is working perfectly fine. If that is not the case and you are trying to point out any other section, please provide any screenshot marked with the issue or any video that helps us to recognize the problem.
I would suggest you check once by clearing all types of cache including Style Cache from Cornerstone > Settings > System > Clear Style Cache.

Thanks

OK - I’ve cleared the style cache. My issue is that clicking the right arrow, the slide scrolls entirely to the right hand side and once there won’t move the content rightwards, but in the same direction as the left arrow.

Hi Bill,

It seems that you’ve changed the custom attribute for your next arrow ( right arrow ) to data-x-slide-prev. The next arrow should have this custom attribute data-x-slide-next. To fix your issue, you should change the custom attribute of your next arrow from data-x-slide-prev to data-x-slide-next.

Hope that helps.

This worked thanks - yet I created that slider from scratch to try and fix this. I will watch for this next time. Bill.
