Site speed - Simple Website

Hi there.
I’m new to making sites, this is just my first site and plans to make several sites. I’m also a beginner and no idea on codes and whatnot. I just have a concern on the speed as it loads slow and I did not have lots of images and whatnot.
I’ve tested my site on google speed insights, and it loads very slow. Site name: Simplified Investing 101 .com (no spaces). I do not use a lot of customization, just 5 plug ins, and my image is under 100 kb. So yeah, how do I make the site loads faster, my site just looks simple, so yeah, how do I remove something to make it load faster.
On Page speed insights, it says “Eliminate Render blocking resources” and “Reduce server times” could save a total of 2.6 seconds.
Also, I’m using Ethos. and yeah, in summary, just wanted to make a very simple site, and wanted to to load the site fast. Can X theme do that?

Thanks for writing.

There are a lot of different factors that are involved when it comes to the speed of the site. It could be the hosting itself, the site optimization, and etc.
