I opened my site on a Mac and it is not resizing. It looks good on any Windows Computer, however, when I open it on a Mac the image on the home page does not resize and it is not centered and neither is the text. What can be done?
I have actually tried opening it on yet another computer and it is not a Mac and it is also not auto adjusting. This can be a huge problem! What can be done to fix?
Hello @borinqen,
Thanks for asking.
Can you please share website URL for us to take a closer look?
Thanks.
It is only cutting off my sliders on both of these pages. In the print screens that I provided I shrunk the size of the site to see the responsiveness and the slider that I have on both of these pages is not responding. You see how the text and the images get cut off? It is happening to a number of people viewing our site.
I also have another site:
www.trudigitalmarketing.com for which I have the same problem. All sites have been verified with purchase codes. The same thing is happening to this site. When you resize the site the text and images are not responsive, they shift down and the images and text get distorted.
This is another site that I have with x and the same thing happens. www.pcncopiers.com
I obviously buy a lot of themes from X so I am really disappointed that they are not as responsive as they claim to be. I am just now finding this out because some people are mentioning to me that they are seeing the site distorted on some devices so I decided to check all of the sites that I have with you and I am finding this.
Hi @borinqen
That is happening because you are using your images on sliders as background images, and that is how background images behave.
Considering your sliders are not dynamic I would suggest you using an image element instead of on Cornerstone.
Also add the class: man to your images to remove the margin-bottom, and your images will behave on every device as you are expecting.
Hope it helps

Ok, I will check try this on all sites.
So, for the home page image…I should remove the slider altogether??
Where do I add this class “man” to my images??
Hi There,
If you are using the classic image element you will find the Style box at the bottom of the element.
If you are using the V2 Image element you will find on the customize tab.
Hope it helps

Hi,
If you don´t want to behave like that, you can remove the slider and replace with an image.
Or on your slider, instead of using your image as background image usit as an image layer.
Hope it makes sense.
So to add an image I would have to go to Cornerstone and add a section and element??
This is the option that I see in the slider revolution… the option says “Main/Background Image” where else do I add an image on the slider?
I have added the image as indicated, however, now the issue I am having is that when I add the text layer to the image, the text is not visible. It hides behind the image. How can I fix that?
Hi There,
You need to change the order of the layers.
Please refer to: https://www.themepunch.com/faq/change-layer-order/
Hope it helps
