Site max-width is complicating my component size and position

Hello! I am creating a component that serves as an entire page, and I am having trouble with sizing and positioning it. Once the site reaches the max width, there is white space along the left side. When I try putting custom CSS in, it doesn’t seem to work.

I am fine with the content being constrained the site max width, but I want the background colours of each row to extend to the edges of the viewport.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Instead of using default page template as it uses the global container, you can try selecting the page template ‘Blank - No Container | Header, Footer’ from the page settings (see screenshot)
