Site formatting issue

Hi Support,

I have checked one of my sites today and the layout of the site seems to have a fault with the all page layouts from menu to footer. http://www.pttc-e-learning.co.uk

It was working up until around 10pm UK time yesterday, and as far as i am aware there was no plugin updates yesterday, but i did smush the images, and add some page tags.

I have cleared the cache, and turned off all the plugins individually and collectively, and i have deleted cornerstone and re installed in but the issue is still there. One thing i noticed when i removed cornerstone, the page looked no different, not sure if that’s relevant?

I have a back up from 27th January i can install, but i will loose all the work i have done this week. So if possible i would prefer not to lose that unless completely necessary.

So can you help me with this issue? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! Upon checking, this issue seems to be related CloudFlare. Could you please login to your CloudFlare account and head over to the Speed tab and then make sure to disable CSS & Javascript autominification options. Then clear CloudFlare cache and test your site again.

If you’re using any caching plugins, also make sure to purge your server cache and clear your browser cache as well before testing.

Thank you so much for that, after a little while its back to normal. So thank you!! Can i ask is there any other settings to avoid in Cloudflare that can cause a negative affect?

Hi Mario,

As we have tested, minifications are the probable cause with CloudFlare and X. Usually after updating your site, make sure to clear CloudFlare cache if you don’t see the changes immediately.

Also follow this guide to ignore the Cornerstone builder from CloudFlare, if haven’t done yet (https://xthemetips.com/using-cloudflare-rocket-loader-with-x-pro-and-x5/928/).
