Site Down after update

Hi,

I was trying to update my plugins, and it took my site down. Here is the error that tech support gave me. Can you please help me get my site back up?

PHP message: PHP Warning: Could not load Component | Shortcode_Finder in /www/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/_classes/plugin.php on line 62PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function process_content() on bool in /www/wp-content/themes/x/framework/legacy/functions/plugins/gravity-forms.php:50

My site is https://hopestory.org

Ok, so I deactivated the cornerstone plugin and then deleted it. Then I clicked on the note in the dashboard to download cornerstone. I did that and activated it, but now my site formatting looks strange. What do you suggest Should I try to download the newest version of X theme and cornerstone and see if that helps?

Hello Rick,

Thanks for writing in!

If you update Cornerstone to version 7.0.2, you will also need to update the X theme to version 10.0.2. Before doing that in your live site, it is best that you create a staging site first and do the updates for your WordPress, plugins and the X theme in the staging URL. This is to avoid any issues or conflict that could potentially down the live site. Once all the updates are good, you can proceed to update the live site. If there are errors, you can always do the troubleshooting in the staging site. If you want to know how you can create a staging site, please check this out:

Best Regards.
