Site doesnt show after update

Hi there, I hope you are well.
I have just updated my X to the latest version and unfortunately the site doesnt show anymore nor any plugin. Could you help, please?

Hey Edna,

I see the issue with your site. Please select one action you could take below.

  1. (Best Option) Contact your web host to revert your site from a backup dated when your site was still working. You can the copy your live working site to a staging server and we’ll investigate why updating X caused the issue. We need to prove that X is really the cause and not 3rd party factors.
  2. Temporarily switch to the default WordPress theme and see if this will bring back the Plugin list in the backend and also your site frontend. If this solves the issue, uninstall Cornerstone from your plugins list and try reinstalling X and then also reinstall Cornerstone via WP Admin Menu > X > Validation

Please then also give us FTP credentials. If you’re not familiar with this, you can ask your web host.

Thank you very much for your response. We have tried with reinstalling but didnt work. Could you look into it, please? Im a bit panicky about loosing all that data and not showing the site online.

PS: we had no backup by host and our own backup is older than the web archive unfortunately.

Hey Edna,

Did you try switching to the default WordPress theme as mentioned previously? Please let us know the result.

Also, please update us with the recent WP Admin credentials. The one you provided doesn’t work now so we will not be able to verify if the solutions we’ll try will work.

Hi Cristian, thank you for your reply. I did try to switch but the site was fallen apart so I didnt want to leave it like that and switched back on. Then I removed the cornerstone plugin and wanted to upload the latest pro version downloaded from the licensing site but couldnt. Neither I could remove the template to reinstall nor I found the cornerstone in the validation area of the wp admin.

Thank you for the credentials but it still not working, I tried a possible combination of the two credentials you provided but no luck.

The FTP credentials are not working as well, please check.

Please keep in mind the following while we troubleshoot the site. Do not edit your page on the native WordPress editor, you will lose the content of Cornerstone if you do.

If you upgrade to PRO, do not install or activate the Cornerstone plugin, Cornerstone is already built-in into PRO.
